These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Life in UK: Test Trainer mobile application (the "App"), published by Ignore Instructions LLC ("we", "us", "the operator"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial study purposes. You may not sublicense, sell, rent, lease, distribute, or otherwise transfer the App or your license to use it to any other person or entity.
The App offers the following purchase options through Apple's In-App Purchase system:
Prices are shown at the time of purchase and may vary by region or change over time; the price displayed in the App at checkout is the price that applies. We may change prices for future billing periods; where required, you will be notified in advance through the App Store.
Purchases made via subscription remain active, and content unlocked via the lifetime purchase remains unlocked, only in association with the Apple ID used to purchase them. If you reinstall the App or use it on a new device, use the "Restore Purchases" option in the App to reapply purchases already associated with your Apple ID.
All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled entirely by Apple under its own refund policies and procedures, not by us. To request a refund, use the "Report a Problem" feature in the App Store or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
The App is an independent, privately produced study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to the UK Government, the Home Office, or the official "Life in the UK" test provider. Study material in the App is based on the publicly published "Life in the United Kingdom" official handbook, restructured into chapters, practice questions, flashcards, and mock exams for study purposes.
We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that the content is complete, error-free, or fully up to date with the latest edition of the official handbook or the current test syllabus. Using the App, including completing mock exams or achieving a particular score, does not guarantee that you will pass the official "Life in the UK" test. The App is a study tool, not a substitute for the official handbook or official guidance, and you remain responsible for verifying information before relying on it for the actual test.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, exam result, or opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the operator's state of registration, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent mandatory local consumer-protection law provides otherwise for users located outside the United States.
We may suspend or terminate your license to use the App if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete it at any time. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid, except as required by Apple's refund policies or applicable law.
In addition to these Terms, your use of the App is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and Apple's standard EULA conflict, Apple's standard EULA governs your relationship with Apple, and these Terms govern your relationship with us.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
